Sharon Leese is a photographer based in London, UK, specialising in reportage and lifestyle photography.
She has always had a great love for photography, capturing the beauty of a moment and the mundane. Coming from a design background has really driven her style of composition and colour. She first began her photography career while working as a Graphic Designer for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, where she realised there was a large demand for an in-house photography resource. She attended courses and assisted established photographers on their shoots while learning the ropes, as well as art directing shoots for the charity. She gained huge amounts of experience from a variety of events and opportunities through the charity, before following her heart and pursuing it full time.
Sharon is now working freelance and has had her photographs published in The New York Times, Guardian, Evening Standard, The Telegraph, New Scientist, Metro, The Washington Post, Nature and Huffington Post.
